Joyous Laughter Volume 2: Intermediate Belly Dance
Building on the essential elements of the dance, Michelle takes the student to the next level of moving: layering-a challenge for the mind as well as the body! Intermediate level moves are first introduced and then the skill of layering is covered with a focus on three areas: Layering two moves on one body part, layering moves on two body parts, and traveling layers. Two performances cover an Egyptian-styled choreography and an improvisational oud taqsi to demonstrate the dynamic effects of layering moves. ( minutes)

Joyous Laughter Volume 3: Advanced Belly Dance
Michelle introduces still more moves such as the Egyptian shimmy, the African shimmy, and Egyptian downs. She then develops nine distinctly different combinations, showing you how to change them to fit your style and music. These combinations include one for zills, cane, and veil but can be done without those props as well. Each combination is meticulously broken down and practiced.
Three dynamic performances showcase an Egyptian-style choreography, an improvised veil piece, and an improvised drum solo and demonstrate the combinations in action!
Praise for Volume III:
"This video is essential to take you to the next level of dance! I love the way you learn to put moves together and incorporate these combinations into my own performances." Kathy Pate
