Michelle is a popular belly dance workshop instructor who brings exacting technique, innovative moves and choreography, and contagious energy to her students.
Michelle has studied Egyptian technique for over 15 years and with many of the greats of Raks Sharki dance (her favorite is Raqia Hassan). Michelle also has a strong grounding in folkloric-inspired dances and American Tribal Style as well. Plus, Michelle shows you more than just the moves: she teaches you how to perform, how to win over an audience, and most importantly, how to have fun!
A regular at Amaya's Annual Oriental Potpourri and many other venues, Michelle also produces many personal workshops at her studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
